Audit Readiness

Walk into any inspection knowing where every record lives.

A pre-licence audit questionnaire, an on-demand audit pack, and a quarterly review rhythm. All three follow the Home Office’s ongoing duties for sponsors.

How it works

Three habits that keep you audit-ready.

1

Pre-licence questionnaire

A structured self-assessment across key personnel, systems, record-keeping and recruitment, mapped to what a compliance officer asks about.

2

Audit pack on demand

One export bundling right-to-work evidence, certificate rationale, worker records and reporting logs, ready to hand over.

3

Quarterly reviews

A four-times-a-year checkpoint with evidence attached per item, so issues are closed quietly rather than surfacing during a visit.

What the audit pack holds

The evidence a compliance officer will ask for.

Losing a licence is costly: after a revocation there’s normally a minimum wait of twelve months before you can reapply, and sponsored workers usually have their permission cut short. Being organised in advance is what keeps a visit uneventful.

The audit pack mirrors the categories of evidence the Home Office expects sponsors to hold, not a generic HR export.

  • Right-to-work evidence per worker
  • Certificate-of-sponsorship rationale
  • Worker records mapped to sponsor duties
  • Reporting and monitoring event log
  • Recruitment records where they apply
  • Key personnel and contact details

Where the software ends

The workspace tracks the evidence; it does not argue your case. If you receive a pre-revocation notice, an inspection letter or a downgrade decision, that is legal work. Our immigration solicitors take it on and handle the correspondence with the Home Office.

FAQ

Questions employers ask.

How much notice does the Home Office give before a compliance visit?
Visits can be announced or unannounced, and sponsors are expected to be ready at any time. The audit pack is built to be exported on the day a visit is notified.
What’s the difference between a mock audit and an audit pack?
A mock audit is a walk-through against the Home Office’s criteria, ideally by an independent reviewer. The audit pack is the bundle of evidence you’d hand over. The platform supports the pack; a mock audit is usually run with a solicitor.
How often should we run a compliance review?
Quarterly is the rhythm the platform is built around. Larger sponsors, or those in higher-scrutiny sectors, often run a fuller review twice a year alongside the quarterly checkpoints.
Can I-Migrator represent us at a compliance visit?
Yes. Our immigration solicitors handle representation and any correspondence with the Home Office. The workspace supplies the records, the questionnaire and the audit pack they work from.
What happens if a gap is found during the questionnaire?
It’s flagged as an action with an owner. You close it, attach the evidence, and the audit pack reflects the corrected position. The platform records the work but doesn’t certify an outcome.
