About the visa
Visitor rules may permit limited volunteering for up to 30 days with a registered charity where it is incidental to the main purpose of the visit. It does not allow paid work or volunteering that amounts to taking a job.
Eligibility & permitted activities
Be a genuine visitor with funds and accommodation, and ensure any volunteering is short, incidental and with a registered charity.
What you can / cannot do
You may carry out limited volunteering as above. You cannot undertake paid work or full volunteering roles that would normally be a job.
