The Graduate visa allows international students who have successfully completed an eligible UK degree to remain and work, or look for work, at any skill level without sponsorship for a limited time. It is not a direct route to settlement.
Eligibility & key rules
You must hold Student/Tier 4 permission at the time of application, and your education provider must have reported successful completion to the Home Office. Apply from within the UK before your student permission expires.
What you can / cannot do
Permitted: any skill level work, self-employment, volunteering, and some study. Not permitted: professional sports, access to public funds, extending the route, or counting time toward ILR.

Apply online after your provider confirms completion; pay the visa fee and health surcharge. Processing usually takes several weeks; digital status is issued.
